Underprivileged communities struggle to offer children quality sports opportunities. Schools in these areas face challenges that divert their focus from sports. The Sports Academy aims to empower these schools to reintroduce such opportunities.
Exciting plans are underway, with discussions held involving stakeholders like Westerlig Primary School, Tukkies (University of Pretoria), Ruby Clubs, and community organizations.
Their Goal
This project will provide underprivileged children with the opportunity to participate in club-based sports. Our schools and other schools can become part of an initiative that makes dreams come true.
This project zeroes in on children and youth, particularly in the context of sports, aiming to foster their development and upliftment. Recognizing the limited sports opportunities available to underprivileged communities, the focus extends to providing a platform for growth and positive engagement through sports activities. Discussions and collaborations with various stakeholders like schools, universities, clubs, and community organizations further drive this goal.
