About Martiniaal

Self-sustainability is the focus when it comes to the sewing center, not only for the people who work there, but also for the centre that provides a service to the community.

This centre is schooled from the heart of a stitcher, Martina, who believes every stitch, yarn and cloth are binding the community together again.

Their Goal 

The goal of the project is to teach women the art of needlework, and to provide each woman with a sense of self-worth and pride.

It also provides the opportunity to earn an income which in turn enables them to provide for their families.

Project Focus

The project focuses on skills development, where women learn to create quality garments that can be turned into a profitable business. This guarantees a sustainable income which eliminates unemployment.
