About FACT Therapy Centre
Driana Zandberg has expanded her team, and Alicia Vermaas and Lisa Matlala have joined the social team at the center. They conduct evaluations and provide therapy and counseling to our community’s children at Groei Goggas and Eden Academy. We have created spaces within the center where they can easily address the children’s needs. Difficult situations and assistance with child removal are also addressed in collaboration with DSD and other Social Councils.
The Learner Support Program serves 38 primary school children with extra classes, reading and learning skills, and a meal. Melandri Sneygans and her team guide these learners from their challenges in their respective grades to excelling in their grades. Time is a precious way to make a difference in the lives of children facing learning challenges.
Their Goal
Academic Support, Remediation, and School Readiness are some of the services offered.
Incorporating therapeutic programs, trauma facilitation, and counseling. Establishing direct partnerships with school welfare departments and sister organizations. Providing clothing and essential household supplies to 36 families in need.
Project Focus
Their focus is on the communities of Danville and Elandspoort, with a special emphasis on families and children. They provide academic support, therapeutic programs, and counseling to enhance school readiness and emotional well-being. Through partnerships with schools, welfare departments, and sister organizations, they offer holistic assistance. Additionally, they provide essential supplies to families in need
