LIG Hawe serves as a beacon of light in a community grappling with social challenges. Situated in Danville/Elandspoort, LIG Hawe provides a range of services tailored to this specific community’s needs. They feed 126 families weekly, offer support to and serve 2 large elderly homes, provide parenting classes, teen fun nights, and much more.
Their Goal
To introduce children and their families to the illuminating presence of Jesus Christ, achieved through engaging Bible clubs, enriching camps, outings, and dynamic holiday programs. The project aims to extend family services via home visits, impactful word ministries, and transformative family uplifting camps. Additionally, the project strives to identify and address emotional, academic, and social needs, channeling them to the Light Therapy Center for holistic support and growth. Introducing children and their families to the Light of the World, Jesus Christ, through Bible clubs, camps, outings, and holiday programs.
