About Kom ons Help gou

This project was born in Pretoria West, during a outreach for specifically elderly individuals. These people have physical difficulties getting to the feeding stations, they walk with walking frames, canes, and sometimes through the supported by other elderly people they struggle to get to their destination. They depend on their needy relatives, a neighbor or a friend to buy a bread or  milk every day.  Many struggle to withdraw their SASSA and are at a great risk to get robbed in the process.

Their Goal 

Kom ons help gou! project gives elderly people access to a reliable young adult, who visits them by motorbike, collects their lists of needs and makes the necessary purchases or even withdrawals. This service is offered free of charge, exclusively to the needy elderly, and is carefully managed by our Project Coordinator.

Project Focus

The purpose of this project is to provide a honorable, effective and good delivery service to the elderly, as well as gaining access to the elderly in order to monitor their well-being. Loneliness and neglect can be addressed and dealt with more effectively.
