About Geared For Life
The Geared for Life camps are adventure-based and offer learners exposure to positive alternatives in nature/outdoor life.
What society labels as ‘difficult’ children, are identified and accompanied on these camps, where they learn to express their feelings in a healthy way and are equipped with ways to positively express their feelings and address their challenges.
Their Goal
To bring about changes in students’ well-being through building relationships, establishing basic principles and moral values, and fostering accountability. To assist individuals in developing to their full potential and living it out, thereby becoming valuable contributors to their communities.
Even after the camp, there is an ongoing mentorship process that is followed with the children. The schools also provide feedback to Willem to determine if further intervention is needed. Our ethos is rooted in Christian values.
Project Focus

Their mission focuses on underprivileged youth, promoting their well-being through education, values, and community engagement. They build strong relationships, impart essential principles and values, and nurture accountability. By fostering personal growth and a sense of responsibility, they help these individuals reach their potential and become valuable contributors to their communities. Their commitment extends beyond initial programs, with ongoing mentorship and collaboration with schools, driven by their Christian values.
