Children in Danville and Elandspoort must navigate the Danville Tunnel daily to reach an Afrikaans/Christian school. Research by ATTSA reveals that financial constraints prevent numerous kids from attending school, leading to a lack of education and exposure.
EDEN Academy offers not just education but also a supportive environment. Melandri Sneygans and her team work diligently to bridge the educational gap for these children. Their commitment ensures progress and development, providing a bright future for these young learners.
Their Goal
To establish an affordable, independent registered school within the Danville and Elandspoort community. Plans are underway to expand to a high school and post-school college by 2025/2026. Their primary focus is to provide children with Christian values and high-quality education. The CAPS curriculum has been developed and implemented over the past year.
The demand and interest from the community are overwhelming, indicating a clear readiness for this remarkable development.
Project Focus
Their project centers on empowering and uplifting underprivileged children and youth. Their aim is to offer essential support, resources, and opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach. Through a range of initiatives and programs, we are committed to nurturing their potential and fostering a brighter future for these deserving individuals.
