About CMR
CMR Gauteng-Oos is a registered nonprofit Christian organization with a dedicated professional social work team. They provide compassionate care and hope to distressed families and children, while also working to empower communities for happier family lives. With 14 consulting rooms in eastern Gauteng and Johannesburg, they offer widespread assistance.
Their Goal
The primary aim of this project can be distilled into three key facets: the preservation of familial bonds, the provision of a protective haven for children against potential harm, and the facilitation of suitable placements within foster and adoptive households when circumstances warrant.
Concurrently, the project also addresses poverty by implementing measures for its alleviation, extends comprehensive aftercare provisions, and institutes a robust support program to ensure its holistic success.
Project Focus
At its essence, the project places a distinct emphasis on key objectives. These include preserving family cohesion, providing a secure environment for children to prevent harm, and facilitating suitable placements within foster and adoptive families when the situation demands. Complementing these goals are efforts towards poverty alleviation, the establishment of a comprehensive aftercare program, and the implementation of a robust support system, all of which contribute to the project’s comprehensive scope and impact.
