Bullying, violence, drug abuse, cell phone misuse, etc. have become a pandemic that has suddenly increased on a large scale in schools, becoming a sad reality. The statistics are alarming, to say the least. Everyone is affected in one way or another, and teachers and parents are now more concerned about the well-being of children than ever before.
This is why Jo and his brother, Willem, decided to find a solution and tackle these social issues head-on by developing an anonymous reporting tool, better known as the “Heroes Anonymous App.” It provides learners with a safe, anonymous platform to report incidents of any kind. The App is designed to empower children and teach them how to take care of their own safety.
Their Goal
They aim to promote leadership among the youth, encouraging every boy and girl to ‘Be That Guy’ and ‘Be That Girl’. The ethos is to foster integrity, respect, honor, and leadership, thereby promoting positivity and mutual support among the youth in their interactions with peers.
The project’s primary emphasis lies in addressing the needs of youth and children, with a specific focus on providing therapeutic support and counseling for upliftment. Recognizing the unique challenges they encounter, the project aims to offer essential emotional assistance and guidance.
Through targeted therapy and counseling services, as well as youth camps, the project endeavors to empower these young individuals to navigate their circumstances with resilience and a positive outlook
